Over 30 children and their families enjoyed an afternoon of fun Jubilee activities on Tuesday 5th June.
The club house was laden with Union Jack themed decorations with a variety of small cakes made by members, to go along side kids teas and bar specials for the adults.
The rain held off long enough for a variety of games to take place outside. These included a coconut shy, putting competition, pitching into a paddling pool, Frisbee throwing, kicking a football through a hole and badminton. The children were able to compete for Champion of Champions, which was ably won by Tom Machin. There was also a bouncy castle and some traditional sports day races such as egg & spoon, 3 legged and sack races. Even the adults had a go at some of these!
Once inside there was a prize for the best Jubilee dressed adult and child and a raffle took place that raised £118 for the Air Ambulance.
Our thanks go to Alan Steven and his team for all their hard work and a special thanks to Richard Simmons who made a great MC for the afternoon!
