Junior's Introduction

Kenilworth Golf Club was the first club in Warwickshire to achieve the much coveted ClubMark status and in Janury 2011 was reaffirmed as a GolfMark club by the English Golf Union.

We are fortunate to have an extremely active Junior's Section with more than 70 junior members as of 1 March 2011.

From March onwards we have numerous Junior competitions - particularly during school holiday periods - for our junior members.  Kenilworth GC remains one of the most progressive clubs in Warwickshire with our juniors qualifying to play in all adult monthly medal competitions once they have achieved a handicap of 18 or better.  Juniors with a handicap of 12 or better can participate in virtually all of the adult competitions played at Kenilworth GC.

Kenilworth GC play an active role in the South Warwickshire League and most Sunday afternoons field a team of eight players which participate in matches against a variety of other local clubs throughout the summer months.

Junior Membership Subscriptions for 2011

NB: Full Junior Membership includes entrance fees to all junior competitions other than the Kenilworth Junior Masters and the Kenilworth Junior Open.

NB: Provisional membership is ideal for juniors who are new to the game as they are entitled to play on the 6 hole par 3 course as well having full use of the club's practice facilities including practice ground, chipping green, practice bunker, putting green and practice nets.

NEW for 2011: From May onwards, provisional junior members will be able to play on the main course on selected Sunday afternoons throughout the summer in sessions which will be supervised by members of the junior committee.
