Kenilworth Junior Masters 2010

In association with the Golf Society of Great Britain, Kenilworth Golf Club will host the Kenilworth Junior Masters on Wednesday 7th April 2010. 

 

Entry Requirements
  • Entries are invited from boys and girls who will be aged under 14 years of age on the day of the competition.
  • No handicap is required to enter the competition but if you do have one please include it on the entry form.
  • Players without a handicap will be allocated one based on their age.
  • Where a player's own handicap is higher than the relevant age related handicap, the age related handicap shall apply.
     
Competition Format & Rules
  • The Competition will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, and as supplemented by Local Rules
  • The winner of the Kenilworth Junior Masters will be the player with the best gross stableford score after 18 holes.
  • Prizes will also be awarded to those players with the best overall handicap stableford score as well for winners by age groups as follows:
Best Gross Prize

1st Place - Gross Score

£75 voucher + Glass Trophy

2nd Place - Gross Score

£40 voucher + Glass Trophy

3rd Place - Gross Score

£30 voucher + Glass Trophy

Girl - Best Gross

£20 voucher + Glass Trophy

  

Best Nett Prize

1st Place - Nett Score      

£40 voucher + Glass Trophy

2nd Place - Nett Score

£30 voucher only

3rd Place - Nett Score

£20 voucher only

  • Only one prize per player will be awarded.  If a player is eligible for more than one prize, the prize of the highest value will be awarded.
  • In the event of a tie the winners will be decided by a countback over the last 9 holes or, if necessary, on the last 6, 3, 2, 1 holes.
  • Distance measuring devices are permitted to be used provided that they only give information about distance.
  • Other than for disabled competitors, caddies are not permitted.
  • Parents and/or guardians will be expected to keep at least 100 yards from their own child and no dierct communication is allowed with thier own child during the round.
  • Payment of the entry fee of £15 must be sent with the completed entry form.
  • Entries will be limited to 72 players on a first come, first served basis.

  • The deadline for the receipt of completed entry forms is Wednesday 24th March 2010.
