Ladies Introduction

Welcome to the Ladies Section of KenilworthGolf Club

We are a friendly and enthusiastic section, whose aim is to provide support to all lady members whatever their handicap.

Our main ladies competition day is Tuesday with ladies having the opportunity under the EWGA rules to play competition on selected weekends. We have a variety of competitions, individual, team and pairs and enjoy mixed events with the men’s, senior and junior sections of the club. Highlights of the year are Captain’s weekend in June and our Captain’s Charity Day in September.

Our section enjoys friendly matches against other clubs enabling ladies of all abilities to play on a variety of courses in the area. We also field a highly successful Warwickshire Inter League Team.

Off the course we have a number of social events planned in our refurbished clubhouse, notably in June our Captains Ball and, Ladies Day at Ascot and in November a Charity Christmas Bazaar and Floristy Demonstration Lunch.

Steve Yates our golf professional provides the most wonderful range of ladies golfing attire which he showcases in an annual spring fashion show (usually in early April). Steve and his assistant James offer a variety of coaching packages now available in the new indoor Golf Academy. If you wish to give golf a try a number of free taster sessions are being offered throughout the year with all equipment being supplied. Details of dates can be found on the Professionals website.
