Golfers took advantage of excellent conditions at the club to shoot some low scores in the Men's Open Alliance on Sunday 3rd August.
None more so than visitors Dave Stephens (Atherstone) and John Moreton (Hinckley) who lifted the top prize with a splendid nett 63, while brothers Mike and Tony Rossborough (Kenilworth) made good use of home advantage to finish runners-up with nett 64.
Tim Rudd (West Midlands) and Tony Rudd (Stonebridge) finished third by virtue of a better back six than Terry Welch and Mike Underhill (North Worcester) after both pairs carded nett 65.
J Gibbs and J McMahon (Fulford Heath) finished fifth thanks to a better last three holes than Graham Biddle and Mark Bennett (Robin Hood) after they both posted nett 66.
Kenilworth duo John Hearne and Elliot Forbes posted the best gross score of 69, while Glyn Priddle and David Harrison (Hinckley) took the best front nine prize with 31 and the best back nine was posted by Anthony Priest and Ian Findley (Ingon Manor) 31.
