Robert Owens took the top honours in the October Medal at Kenilworth Golf Club on Saturday.

Owens carded 74, nett 67, to emerge triumphant in Division A from Taylor McDonald 76, nett 68, and Maurice Langman 76, nett 69.

The Division B winner was Brian Harris 81, nett 68, from John Kavanagh 83, nett 70, who finished runner-up by virtue of a better back nine than Kevan Witts 81, nett 70.

Countback was also required in Division C with Paul Heathfield 88 nett 69, edging out Alan Parker 92, nett 69, by virtue of a better back nine. Peter Tatlock was third with 87, nett 69.
