As Club Captains for 2013/14 we would like to welcome members and visitors to another great year at Kenilworth Golf Club.
We are justifiably proud of our Club, which is forward-thinking while also maintaining traditional high standards and values that are associated with a long-established golf club.
Golfers continue to benefit from the many improvements being made to the course, and additionally we have a firm commitment to protect and conserve our wild life habitat. We have an on-going tree planting and management programme, additional bird boxes are to be installed and selected areas of our land have been ‘set-aside’ for wild life protection. As an extension of our conservation programme a group of members are producing web-based golfer’s guides to KGC wildlife, wild flowers and trees around the course.
As well as having an excellent Golf Pro, Pro Shop and Academy, Kenilworth can boast an aspiring Junior Section and very friendly Ladies’ Section, which is always happy to welcome new members of all ages and standards of golf! This year we have even introduced an over 75s competition for the ladies - who says golf doesn’t keep you fit!
Visitors will be attracted by our friendly bar and excellent catering facilities, while new members may be tempted by the academy and great practice facilities, including a new par 3 course.
They can also join a number of friendly chuck-ins for gents and ladies, and will be made to feel very welcome.
We are a friendly Club, keen to welcome new members and visitors alike, and for you to join us
In the social side of our golfing year – we have arranged some excellent fun events for all to enjoy. Please come along and enjoy our year with us.
